Guru Purnima

The Full Moon in July, when the Moon is full in the sign of Sagittarius, is considered one of the holiest of the year. While all Full Moons carry significance, this one is especially dedicated to the teacher.

The word “Guru” means “the dispeller of darkness”—the one who reveals our blind spots and guides us toward clarity and growth. Guru is also a synonym for Jupiter, the most benefic and auspicious planet, which nourishes both our material and spiritual lives.

The Guru represents the highest teaching principle. Whether or not we have a living teacher in our lives, today is a powerful time to honor all those who have taught and guided us, in both great and subtle ways.

Take a moment to remember them—internally and externally—and offer your gratitude.

We can also recognize the Guru principle itself- the divine grace and wisdom that is guiding us, whether we’re aware of it or not!

May you receive the grace and blessings of Divine Wisdom today and always.

If there’s any way I can support your journey toward the light of wisdom, I am happy to do so.

Love and Blessings,

Mrinmoyee
